Public Records Request

For official public records requests under the Public Records Law, please submit your request in writing to the following records custodian for records in the custody of the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement (LCLE). Record requests should be limited to those specific public documents in the custody of the LA Commission on Law Enforcement. Public documents maintained by LCLE include: state & federal grant applications & awards, certain information related to applications for crime victim compensation and peace officer standards and training, medal of honor recipients, and various data reports and statistics regarding crime in Louisiana.

Please Note: We do not have access to or store police reports, crash reports, arrest records, arrest warrants, or court records. You must contact the parish or city in which those records originated.
